Random thought:
Wearing my hair in a ponytail/pulled back for 30 years has made the middle of the back of my (incredibly straight) hair permanently wavy.
With that note - I'm going on vacation. Hope to run a few miles in the cool Oregon air. Bummed that I'll miss the Olympic Trials in Eugene, though.

My incredibly fine and straight hair completely changed after the birth of my second child - my boy. It's now very wavy, curly even.

Holy crap!! Same here!! I swear I have never heard anyone else say this but me! I have a funky wave in the back of my head that can only be explained by the pony tail thing! My hairdresser is totally appalled by it, "I really don't know what to do about this, Renae!". Whatever dude.
